What took so long?


Quoting from an article in ICG magazine about the filming of the upcoming documentary, Troubadours, cinematographer Nicola Marsh made this observation. " Modern film stocks are so tight, and when you are spending all this money to shoot film, you really want the audience to know it." huh? "I think we've all been taught as cinematographers that grain is bad, but I think with the advent of digital grain is making a comeback!" What took so long?
