During my sports photography "period" I had the honor and pleasure of photographing five women from the GPBL, the Girls Professional Baseball League. Dorothy, above, and the other women were a breath of fresh air when compared to some of the MLB players who asked questions like, "are we done yet", while walking into the studio. Rest in peace Dottie, the Baseball world could use a few more like you.
